How does the Brow Lifting procedure work?
Brow Lifting is a 3-step procedure that extends the total treatment area to maximize lifting by combining forehead eyebrow elevation, eyelid tightening, and scalp tightening. Extending the treatment to the scalp provides a stronghold or anchor point on the lifting effect due to the high adhesion of the SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System). The depth of penetration with the Brow Lifting procedure is especially favorable for facial treatments. Using low fluences and a hyper-stacking protocol produces deeper collagen growth for enhanced tightening while also providing a comfortable experience for the patient by delivering a gradual heat increase, thereby avoiding the shock that can be induced by high-powered single pulses.
How comfortable is the proceduret?
This procedure is comfortable and non-aggressive, allowing patients to return to their normal routines. Total treatment time is around 25 minutes, and 3 to 4 sessions are recommended. The procedure is usually performed under topical anesthesia. Anesthetic cream is not required in the scalp area.
